This is a group picture of the cast from Season 2. (credits to nickutopia.com)
The color palette consists of burgundy, light and dark grey, black, white, and hints of gold.
What I love about their color palette is that it mainly consists of solid, neutral colors. The colors go well with each other and go well with other colors (pastels, sometimes neons, etc.)
I also love the look of the cast on set when they are off duty (not at school, chilling around the house, eating breakfast, you know, etc.). Here's the best picture I could find of the cast (not everyone, sadly :/) in "regular clothing". Credits to teen.com.
The cast all has their own way of dressing on set. Nina (Nathalia) seems to lean towards bright colors, stripes, patterns, etc. while Amber (Ana) seems to lean towards pastels, lace, and ruffles. I admire every single different style on set, but my style would lean more towards Patricia's (Jade), as she likes to wear black tights and combat boots under her uniform, and that is definitely how I could see myself dressing in a school/uniform setting.
Most of the cast as whole though wears blazers, peter pan collared tees, pleated skirts in solid colors, cardigans, v-neck sweaters, knee high socks, mary janes, oxfords, and on the occasion, boots.
I found these "real life" examples on Chictopia that lean towards the House of Anubis sense of style.
(I also tried to go by the palette.)

Those examples being set, I love the use of tights and knee socks in the pictures and how they are usually black. I admire that example and whenever I buy tights, I make sure they are either black or white, yet sometimes I like buying bright, fun colors as well.
Now, to the whole shopping/getting it put together part. For blazers, I like burgundy, black, white, coral, navy, and grey.
I like shopping for blazers at Forever 21 and H&M, though for more variety, I prefer going shopping online at places with free returns, like Asos and Modcloth. Topshop is a good place to look as well.

(Essential Linen Blend Blazer, Forever 21, $19.80 at forever21.com)
(Ponti Cute Curved Lapel Blazer, ASOS.com, $59.61)
For skirts, I've had a lot of luck at vintage/second-hand stores, though for major retailers, I love Forever 21 (I will mention Forever 21 A LOT in my posts, as they usually have cute clothes at reasonable prices, and no, I was not paid to say that), American Apparel, and Charlotte Russe.
Depending on which style of skirt you want, there are many stores to go have a look-see through. For body-con skirts, or skirts that hug your body, Charlotte Russe usually has body-con skirts for as low as 5 bucks. For more loose, more basic skirts, American Apparel has many different skirt options, ranging from vintage, to brand new, more recent styles. Forever 21 can be your "everything in between" option, as they are more of a "we supply everything" store. I love nudes, blacks, greys, and blues for skirts.
(Denim Circle Skirt in Medium Stone Washed Indigo, $45.00 at American Apparel)
(Knitted Skater Skirt in Camel, $15.33, ASOS.com)
For shirts, I like shopping at stores with basic lines. So mainly any store you can find with a line of peter pan collared shirts, white tees, etc. is good. :)
(Vera Moda blouse w/ Peter Pan Collar, $23.84 at ASOS.com)
And finally, to shoes and tights. I love Forever 21 and ASOS for socks and tights, as well as Urban Outfitters. For shoes, gojane.com, Buffalo Exchange, Rue 21, and Charlotte Russe are my go-to's. I like how the House of Anubis cast's style looks with black oxfords, combat boots, clogs, and ankle boots.
For tights, I love the kind of tights Patricia wears, (usually lacy or opaque) and the kind of socks Amber wears (usually heather grey, as well as everyone's in the house, though sometimes they wear white socks as well) so I tried to find a variety of them all. :) (Helpful hint, by the way, never spend more than 15 dollars on socks/tights and never more than 40 on basic shoes such as oxfords, booties, etc. though if you buy shoes that are high in quality, such as designer shoes, there is an exception.)
(Asos Wool Cable over the knee sock in black, ASOS.com, $10.22)
(Scalloped Texture Tights in Black, Forever 21, $5.80)
(The Canvas Lace-Up Oxford at gojane.com, $22.50)
(The Combat Boot at gojane.com, $24.99)
(The Lace Up Cap Toe bootie at gojane.com, $25.30)
That is pretty much a wrap. :) For accessories, I like Asos, Modcloth, and Topshop, as well as drawing inspiration from designers like Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, and Alexander Mcqueen. I hope you all enjoyed this post! xx
